Age Concern St Albans are looking for a reliable, responsible and patient person who is physically fit and has an interest in working with elderly people as a bus escourt. Travel with the driver and help elderly clients on and off the bus. If you live near the centre of St Albans the bus could pick you up and take you home again.

The Community Right to Bid, introduced as part of the Localism Act 2011 enables town and parish councils and local voluntary and community organisations to nominate local land or buildings to be included in the List of Community Value held by the Council. Find out more here
Herts Action on Disability (HAD) Cycle Ride
A charity cycle ride to OA Sports Ground, St Albans on Sunday June 23rd 2013 with a party at the finish.
Cyclists needed to cycle to the OAs from their own chosen starting point. The further the better to raise more sponsorship money.
There will also be a local family ride from Gosling Sports Park, Welwyn Garden City. This will take in the Alban Way cycle path, plus a few laps of Welwyn Wheelers' Veladrome.
