Need funding for a project which helps the most vulnerable in our community?
St Albans City and District Council has launched its 2013-2014 Community Grants fund. St Albans CVS is administering this fund on their behalf.
Community groups can apply for between £500 and £5000 for capital expenses, fixed term projects and/or to give added value to existing activities.
In previous years groups have been successful in applying for funds for a wide range of projects: to run a carers group; a drop in service for people with mental health difficulties; a dancing project to help people with Parkinson’s disease; sports tournaments for disabled people and training for bereavement volunteers, for example. Any project that will benefit the community and meets the criteria for this year’s fund will be considered. Find out more here .
